Get More Facebook Likes

Yesterday, I showed you how to get more Facebook likes with Twitter. Today, I’m going to show you 3 ways you can get more likes to your Facebook Business Page without effort.

Step 1.  Make sure your URL is easy to remember.  The default name of your Facebook page has a whole bunch of numbers on it.

Kind of hard to add this to your business cards

Place your new URL on your business cards, stationary and email signature.  Make sure you include a request for people to like you!

Step 2. Make sure your personal profile is linked to your business page. When you meet people, they will often try to connect with you on social media.  If you don’t list your Facebook business page on your personal page properly, people might click and get a page that doesn’t exist.  This is called a Facebook Ghost Page.

  1. Hi Tandy, that’s a great question! There are two things you can do to get your posts seen by more of your fans. 1st, make sure your posts get engagement in the form of shares, likes and comments. Second, if you have something you REALLY want people to see, like an event or sale, you can boost the post.

  2. Great information. Thanks! I checked these off in my head. What do you think about the facebook algorithm that stops people from seeing your business posts; even when they’ve ‘liked’ you? Any advice for overcoming this challenge is appreciated. Thanks

  3. Hi Catherine, unless your target market is teenagers, then yes. Facebook is not only worth your time..but a must have in your business! Thanks for asking!

  4. Great tips! Thanks for sharing 🙂 So many people don’t know that they can change the URL of their Facebook page, but it makes your business so much easier to find when the link is easy to remember!

  5. Great reminder! What are your thoughts on Facebook for businesses now? Worth the time? It’s the format I use most, but curious your thoughts 🙂
