Excited to plan

Yesterday I posted a picture of the graphic I created to promote my upcoming hangout.  I’ll be sharing my secrets to posting consistent content to multiple Facebook Fanpages in record time.

Today, I spent some more time listing out some free resources available to make Facebook posts quick and easy. Here are a few you might already know about:

Buffer.com  I actually use Buffer for my twitter account. As I’m filtering through items, it beaks up my tweets so I don’t annoy my followers with a bunch of tweets at one time.  You can also use it for Facebook. Its very easy to use and posts to my page with the click of a button (as long as I am already logged in.)

TweetDeck.com TweetDeck lets you schedule posts for Twitter and Facebook, but it really doesn’t have any advantages over simply scheduling your posts within Facebook itself.

Hootsuite.com  People either love or hate Hootsuite. I prefer to keep my twitte posts and Facebook posts separate from each other so I don’t have much use for this software, but others can’t live without it.

Postcron.com This one lets you post to multiple Facebook and Twitter accounts/pages with a promise to add LinkedIn too.

Which free tools do you use to schedule your Facebook posts?

  1. Yes Morgan that counts…but your Facebook page doesn’t need to be exclusive content. This is actually where many business owners get stuck. They think they have to be original with everything when in fact you build relationships by posting things from others. Silly cat videos not only get shares and likes, they show you have a sense of humor when you post them. Posting on your page 2-3 times a day gets you more exposure which can lead to more followers of your blog:)

  2. I do Hoot Suite but bot the others -very useful information thanks!

  3. I have to say I am a big fan of hootsuite, we have a number of pre-generated posts that go out to Twitter via this medium. I will look into the others, thanks so much for such an informative post 🙂

  4. Honestly, I have yet to start prescheduling FB posts and tweets. I do preschedule a certain amount of my blog posts which then post to FB and Twitter though Networked Blogs…so does that count or not?! I am never sure if it does or not. Of course, let’s be honest, I am more focused on my blogs than I am on FB and Twitter.
